Although we would love to celebrate with everyone, we can only accommodate the invitee(s) listed on the envelope of your invitation. The accommodations that have been reserved also can only accommodate the invitee(s) listed on the envelope of your invitation. The invitees on your envelope are not transferrable. Since we are having such a small intimate wedding, we carefully and intentionally invited the invitees listed on your envelope so that we can celebrate with those closest to us.

We love your children however, we can only accommodate adult invitee(s) listed on the envelope of your invitation. The accommodations that have been reserved can only accommodate the invitee(s) listed on the envelope of your invitation.
  • Should I rent a car?
We recommend that each group or party rent a car. There is ample parking at each villa and at the venue if needed. Lucca is a small town, located 45 minutes outside of Florence and 25 minutes outside of Pisa, and taxis can be unreliable if you are trying to get somewhere (like a wedding) on time. You can call taxis in Lucca but can end up waiting 30-45 minutes for it to arrive so plan accordingly if you choose this option. We also recommend having a car to explore Lucca and Pisa in your free time. There are familiar rental car agencies like Hertz, Sixt, Enterprise, Alamo etc located at the Florence and Pisa airports. Most of our guests are arriving to Italy on different days/times so we are unable to coordinate a transfer from Florence to Lucca. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • Will I need to drive/taxi to the events?
No, transportation will be provided for guests staying at Villa al Falchetto. It is a short 5 minute drive to the venue. Welcome Party Pickup/Drop off times: 1 bus leaving Falchetto for the welcome party at 5:40pm to arrive by 6pm Shuttle service returning to Falchetto runs from 9:30-10:30pm Wedding Ceremony Pickup/Drop off times: 1 bus leaving Falchetto for the wedding at 3:40pm to arrive by 4pm Shuttle service returning to Falchetto between 10:30-1:30am, One final bus returning to Falchetto at 1/1:30am. If you are staying at one of the four villas on the property of the venue, you will be able to walk (less than 2 mins) to all of the events. If you do decide to drive to any of the wedding events, free parking is available at Villa Arancera (Welcome Party Location) and Villa Grabau (Wedding Ceremony/Reception Location)
  • What should I wear to the welcome party?
We are asking that our guests wear predominately white attire for the all white welcome party. This may include a white summer dress for ladies and a white shirt and/or jacket for men. Think sunset, Tuscan pizza party! Ladies, the event will be held poolside and the ground will be compact gravel or grass so keep this in mind if you are planning on wearing heels. These photos are just examples of the level of formality we are going for for this party! You are welcome to wear whatever white clothes you feel comfortable in :)
  • What should I wear to the wedding?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The wedding is black-tie optional. For ladies, we ask that you wear long, summer formal dresses. For gentlemen, black tuxedo or dark colored suits. Please reserve the color white and cream for the bride and groom. Ladies, some of the wedding events will be held in multiple locations where the ground will be compact gravel or grass so keep this in mind if you are planning on wearing heels.
  • What is the weather going to be like?
This is the predicted temperatures for the weekend of our wedding: High: 86 degrees Low: 60 degrees Pray for clear skies!
  • Do I have to stay at the reserved accommodations?
Yes, we have chosen this venue specifically so that all our guests can share in an intimate weekend of celebrations. Lucca is a very small town with limited accommodations close to the venue. We have coordinated transportation to and from each wedding event for your convenience and will be picking up/dropping off from Villa al Falchetto. If you do choose to stay at a different hotel or accommodation, you will be responsible for your transportation to and from the wedding events.
  • What is the cancellation policy for accommodations if I need to cancel my reservation unexpectedly?
We completely understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and while we wish we could accommodate cancellations, unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for accommodations cancelled after 4/15/2024. As we're sure you can appreciate, planning a destination wedding involves significant commitments and arrangements on our end as well as with our vendors. Therefore, we kindly ask that you consider your commitment to attending our special day before finalizing your arrangements. Your presence means the world to us, and we're truly grateful for your understanding and support as we embark on this unforgettable journey together.
  • What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP. The caterers will be able to accommodate you for the Welcome Party and Wedding Day.
  • Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the wedding ceremony and events and silence your cellphones. We will have 2 photographers and a videographer who will be there to capture every moment. If you do capture a photo or video at an appropriate time that you'd like to share with us, use our wedding hashtag on social media #vanscivereverafter or text the photo/video to (786) 807-7892 or (786) 780-2624

  • What should I be sure to pack for the wedding weekend?

All white welcome party outfit A bathing suit and towel to enjoy your pool at your villa Formal attire for the wedding (black tie optional) Passport and necessary travel documents
